We,
the Board of Trustees, 2004, are asking that all members, past and present, in
tribute to Her Towle who passed away this past Christmas Eve, participate in coming
together to commemorate our friend's life and dedication to the Cohasset Sailing
Club.
Few people in Cohasset are recognized to have
had such an ongoing and beautiful influence on so many lives as did Herb. We are
fortunate to live in a wonderful Town in a beautiful part of our country. Herb
made that even more available to all Cohasset children and adults by working tirelessly
from conception to completion of the Sailing Club. His love was sailing and the
sea, but his true passion was people!Help us commemorate this great life by working
together to refurbish the club house and build an outdoor pavilion for all of
us to enjoy in the years to come, done in memory of Herb Towle. As you can see,
we have a lot of work to do, and a likely goal of over $100,000.00! Any gift over
$1000. will be recognized in the . . . .
'Commodore Towle's Circle of Friends'
Herb never asked for anything . . . so let's
honor him now, with true generosity and commitment of spirit, so that we may all
look forward to countless sailing seasons and great times down at the Sailing
Club!
